Mission
Links Not Chains, Inc’s (LNC) mission is to connect justice-involved (i.e., pre/post incarcerated) individuals and at-risk youth with programs and resources needed to educate, train, employ and counsel them, and in doing so create/restore economic, social, and behavioral conditions necessary to prevent incarceration/reincarceration. The primary vehicle to accomplish this will be collaborations between disassociated communities and the service providers positioned to provide programs and services.
Vision
Our vision is a community where at-risk populations are nonexistent. A community where all people have equitable access to lifesaving and life-changing programs and services. Our vision is that Links Not Chains serves as an evidence-based model for how to create and maintain viable links to improve the quality of life by connecting those in need to the socio-economic tools for success.
Core Values & Principles
• Work tirelessly to identify and serve justice-involved individuals and youth at risk of being incarcerated. Listen receptively to those we serve to better understand their circumstances and challenges.
• Design programs and services that are innovative, accountable, and always put those we serve first, ever mindful that every individual has unique needs, skill sets and dreams.
• Collaborate with organizations and initiatives that share our values and pledge to educate, train, counsel, and support those we serve with compassion and efficiency.
• Create and maintain a work environment that promotes transparency, creativity and understanding in which all employees are respected and supported.
• Remain keenly aware of the need to promote diversity, inclusion, and communication within the organization and in the community.

Through our Partnership with Grice Corp, LLC. we can offer education and life-skills trainings to increase job search marketability, including educational opportunities to develop and obtain a trade certification.
Through our Partnership with GB Entertainment we can offer artist development workshops where we educate upcoming artists on the business side of the music industry.
Through our Partnership with Lava Room Studios we can offer education and in-studio experiential learning opportunities, internships, and job placement.
Through our Partnership with Cheddar Studios we can offer education in video production, editing and social media content creation.
Through our Partnership with the Cleveland School of Audio Recording we will offer an Audio Engineering trade certification.
